America's Deadliest Serial Killer on This Day in History

This Day in History: American serial killer Samuel Little was born on this day in 1940. He claims to have killed over 90 women and the police and the FBI find his claims to very credible. The FBI has released a timeline of Samuel Little’s murders on its website, which includes all available details in the hope of identifying more of his victims.

We may know a lot about Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy etc., but there are many more serial killers and mass murderers that we do not know about, like Samuel Little, and I suspect that political correctness may have something to do with that. See more about Billy Chemirmir, Wayne Williams, Carl Eugene Watts etc.

Wikipedia has an entry for the most prolific serial killers, and the USA does not even make it in the top 10.

Luis Garavito (Colombia/Ecuador/Venezuela) was number one with 138 proven deaths, but he may be responsible for as many as 300.

Number 2 is Pedro Lopez (Colombia/Ecuador/Peru) who is responsible for 110 proven deaths.

Javed Iqbal from Pakistan killed 100

Mikhail Popkov from Russia killed 83

Daniel Camargo Barbosa (Colombia/Ecuador/Brazil) killed 72

Pedro Rodrigues Filho from Brazil killed 71,

Kampatimar Shankariya from India killed 70,

Yang Xinhai from China 67 and two other Russians round out the top 10.

If this Wiki entry included Samuel Little, America would be number 4.

Did you know?: Serial killer Rodney Alcala appeared on the popular TV show “The Dating Game” in 1978 amid his killing spree — and won!.

Ted Bundy saved a child from drowning, retrieved a woman’s purse from a thief, and worked for a suicide hotline.

The Gennessee River Killer, Arthur Shawcross, saved a prison guard’s life, and female serial killer Aileen Wuornos was actually a talented artist
