The New World Translation Defended (Mar 3, 2019)

Introducing a new blog dedicated to the New World Translation Bible, a Bible version that is often unfairly criticized. Simply visit https://newworldtranslation.blogspot.com/ and right now it features the following articles:

"Your divine throne endures forever" RSV (Psalms 45:6)

Missing Verses in the New World Translation

The Word MAN as Synecdoche for All People
"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 American Standard Version
"Human beings live not on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." New Jerusalem Bible

The Trinity Doctrine, By the Numbers

Godhead/Trinity Versus "Divine Nature"
"The word godhead is not good English: it means nothing in itself and conveys no idea to the reader."

Demonology and the Bible by Jonathan L. Forster 1873

Adam's Apple
Even the uncivilized men, the early Adams of the race, knew probably no fruit but the apple.

The Early Evolution of Trinitarianism By Levi Leonard Paine 1900

In the NAME of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost
If simply mentioning the 3 together ensures triunity, then God, and the Son and the angels must be some mysterious triad, as they are mentioned together more often.

A Look at the New European Version Bible
John 1:1 has "the Word was Divine" which is superior to the standard translation of this text, and a nod to the two greatest Bible translators, Moffatt and Goodspeed.

My Response to Bible.ca's "Arian Biased Translations"
It should be noted that the alterations made to Archbishop Newcome's New Testament were indeed improvements, especially when it comes to John 1:1, and this altered text does not provide, according to this site, "a basis for the New World Translation's '...and the Word was a god,'"...common sense and good grammar does.

ALL Bibles Add Words
P. Marion Sims researched all the words in italics in the Gospel of Matthew in the 1611 King James Version and counted 43, but in the 1870 (Cambridge) edition that number had ballooned to 583 words in italics in the same Gospel.

ANALUSAI and Philippians 1:23
The Revised New Jerusalem Bible also uses the word "released" here, as does Lyman Booth in his "The Mystery Of Iniquity Explained."

Frank Ewald on the Trinity
"Within Judeo-Christianity, in fact, in the entire New Testament, there is indeed the faith in God, the Father; in Jesus, the Son; and in God’s Holy Spirit, but there is no doctrine of a god in three persons (forms of existence), no doctrine of a triune god or of a trinity.”

The Intellectual Scandal of the Trinity Doctrine
In the earliest Christian documents the Triad idea is not present; it arose, like most of the rites of the cult, by way of assimilation of convenient doctrines from other systems; men trained in Egyptian and Syrian mysticisms turning the formulas of these to the uses of the new system.

Trinitarianism Contradictory to Reason By J. S. Hyndman 1824
But the hypostatic union, not content with making one mind both human and divine, makes one person of two persons—the one infinite person of the Trinity and the person of the man Jesus strictly and literally only one subsistence; thus producing the absurdity, that finite may be identified with infinite.
